The 2nd Annual Hawaii Volleyball Combine!

Aloha!  The 1st Annual Hawaii Volleyball Combine was a huge success with players, from various clubs, receiving volleyball scholarships and many others  generating serious interest!   Last year we had 21 top colleges attending the combine.  This year we will have many more colleges, including more DII and DIII colleges.   Do not miss out!

When & Where: The 2nd Annual Hawaii Volleyball Combine will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Manoa Valley District Park Gymnasium from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.   This Recruiting Combine is limited to elite volleyball players graduating between 2011 & 2014.  Although not part of the combine, the Asics Rainbows Volleyball Club will sponsor an Invitational Volleyball Tournament the next day, Sunday, January 23, 2011 for the college coaches to attend and observe players.

Who is Eligible:   Elite High School girls volleyball players graduating between 2011 and 2014, regardless of club affiliation.  Players must have at least 2 years club experience and have the potential to play Division I, II or III college volleyball.    This is a perfect opportunity for those players who would normally have limited exposure to mainland college coaches because their club team may not travel to the mainland to play or does not qualify for the Junior Olympics.  This is also a great opportunity for club players who want additional exposure to mainland college coaches.   The Combine enables players to be scouted by top mainland college coaches without incurring any costly  travel expenses such as airfare and hotel. 

The Cost:  The demand is high and therefore registration will be limited.  Registration is here online and on a first-come-first-served basis.  The cost is just $175.00.  REGISTRATION IS NOT YET OPEN.  

What You Get:  Players will be showcased right here in Hawaii before top Division I, II and III volleyball coaches from across the United States.  The coaches are traveling here to Hawaii to scout you!  Each player will have the opportunity to show their skills to these top coaches.  All  players receive a Hawaii Volleyball Combine T-shirt with a designated number on it.  Do not miss this rare opportunity! 

Sign Up: The demand is high and spots will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis and we are limiting the number of players for each position.  HOWEVER REGISTRATION IS NOT YET OPEN SO DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REGISTER YET.  WE ANTICIPATE THAT REGISTRATION WILL OPEN SOON.  Please understand that we must limit the number of players per position so that all players have maximum playing time during the tournament.  When registering, be prepared to fill-out a volleyball resume questionnaire that the coaches will use in evaluating your playing experience.   Whjen registering, please make sure you include the telephone numbers and email addresses for your coaches.   Please sign up below or from the main menu.

What to Wear:  Players attending the Combine must wear volleyball shoes and kneepads and supply their own water, beverage and lunch.   

Concession Stands:  There will be food, drink and other concessions.

College Coaches:  100% of the coaches that attended the 2010 1st Annual Hawaii Volleyball Combine said that were returning for the 2011 2nd Annual Hawaii Volleyball Combine.   If you attended the 2010 Hawaii Volleyball Combine, we will be contacting you regarding the 2011 Hawaii Volleyball Combine.  Please plan on a mixer in Waikiki on Friday Night, the Combine on Saturday and a Tournament on Sunday.  If you did not attend the 2010 Hawaii Volleyball Combine, but would like to attend the 2011 Hawaii Volleyball Combine, please contact us at asicsrainbows@aol.com.
